Team Fit

LAR

BUF

WFT

A competent level athlete who can move well enough both laterally and in a line. Quick to fire into pass protection sets so footwork isn't a concern. Football IQ is very good as he's capable to be left alone on an island. Protypical size for a NFL tackle Great movement skills.

Weaknessess

Position is quite limited as his size and current career to date limits him to tackle. September 2021 will be his first live action in two years. Medical history is also a concern as he tore an ACL in 2019. Not what you would call an individual with a mean streak. Quicker and smaller pass rushers can outleverage him and make him play taller at times.

Big Picture

How much did the rust from the knee injury and COVID19 opt out hurt Little in his development? Some team will find out just like the rest of us in short order. Before injury, he was a bona fide first round selection. Now, he will be lucky to be drafted at the tail end of Day 2 due to the aforementioned factors. The talent is there but can he round back into form after such a long layoff? Right now, he projects as a backup swing tackle that will need some development due to the lost reps.

Athleticism:

6.5

7.25

Posseses relatively good quickness for an athlete of his size. Has shown that he can connect his upper and lower half flexibility on a consistent basis. While not the fastest tackle laterally, he has enough to contain the more slow twitch pass rushers. Doesn't have a lot of explosion off the snap. Just adequate in that area. Play strength is an issue at times as he can get lost in the wash. Good balance and light on his feet.

Big Play Ability

Good enough in line blocker that actively seeks out targets at the second level on a consistent basis. Athleticism allows him to spring loose when he has to pull and move well laterally. Reach block is a problem as he tends to not use the full arm length and is content to short arm. Doesn't adjust well in space and is caught at times trying to diagnose which defender to take on. Hand usage is relatively above average considering that once he locks on, the defender usually gets erased from the play.

Pass Blocking:

6.5

Fires into pass pro very well. Flashes the ability to protect the corner but has lost several battles when a more athletic pass rusher uses a spin to reset hands. A quicker EDGE can and will fire into his body before he can get set, losing leverage. If he has time to reset, he can anchor down well using quicker feet but he isn't the most bendy. Hand usage is better in pass pro than run blocking but he often times allows for the chop move to disrupt his hands.

Competitiveness:

A willing competitor but is often too content to dance instead of road grading the defender over. Consistency is pretty solid along with a long running motor. Toughness could be called into question as he has missed a significant amount of time.

Adept at handing off and entering combo blocks with his linemates when asked. Position versatility score is hampered by the fact that he hasn't played anywhere but left tackle. Solid at reading and subsequently warding off stunts as his reps progress.
