Strengths
Fantastic blocking TE. He is tough, smart and uses great technique. He can play both TE and Fullback, as he is that good of a blocker. For being more of a blocking TE he is surprisingly athletic and quick. He has a great release off the line of scrimmage and is able to run a good route, or use his release to make a block down field. He is a great leader, because he always gives his all on every play and that mentality rubs off on his teammates.
Weaknessess
He did not have much production as receiver. He has all the tools, but was never a big piece of the pass game. This is a little concerning, because Notre Dame is a great tight end school and he just wasn't used. He has decent speed, but gains no separation when running routes.
Big Picture
Tremble is a bit of a confusing prospect to me, because I feel he has all the tools to be a very good NFL TE, but he hasn't developed into a strong receiver. I think he can make an impact as a rookie in the run game though, because he is that good at blocking and the effort he gives will also make him a great special teams player. I could even see him playing a split TE/FB role for a pass heavy team. That being said. his receiving production is a worry. I think he is going to need to prove he can be a threat in the pass game and I don't know how much he will be able to do that because of this unusual offseason, so I think will be a day 3 pick.
