Jake Leicht is a secondary English teacher at Taylor Community School Corporation in Kokomo, Indiana. Jake, 27, is the head Varsity basketball coach at Taylor, and he is also the offensive coordinator for the football team as well. He has coached basketball and football six years at the high school level. Jake was an honorable mention All-State football player in the state of Indiana in 2009. He went on to play quarterback at Franklin College for two seasons before ultimately transferring to Purdue to finish his education.
Jake’s love for football reaches beyond just the playing field. He loves to discuss scouting, player development, and basic x’s and o’s for teams at both the college and NFL level. Jake enjoys watching game film online, and he loves NFL draft season as well. Every year since he was a senior in high school, Jake has attended the NFL Combine in Indianapolis to rub shoulders with NFL personnel and college players. His love for sports, especially football, drives him towards his goal of one day working for a professional sports team.
