Phillip Salmo is from Queens, New York, and is majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) at Cornell University. He is planning on going to business school after he graduates, but ultimately wants to work in the sports media production world. He has a love of both film and sports, and sees that profession as the perfect pairing of the two. He has been involved in sports since he was little, playing soccer, basketball, and running track, but has always had a deep passion for the game of football. In college, he has involved himself in the sports world a great deal. He is involved in the Cornell ILR Sports Business Society radio show and end-of-semester magazine. Beyond sports, Phillip interned for the New York City Law Department in the summer of 2017 and is currently interning in the Human Resources Department at MetroPlus Health Plan. Phillip is an analyst for Blitzalytics, working especially in the fantasy football department, and is excited to broaden the scope of his involvement at Blitz and beyond.
