Blitzalytics Analysis

Line Memphis (-9) Over/Under 58 Against the Spread - Cincinnati (7-5) Memphis (8-4)

This is a rematch of last week’s game at the Liberty Bowl which went to the Tigers 34-24.

At one point in the game, Cincy was down 17-3 and it looked like it was going to be a blowout. However, they came back on a couple of different occasions and was within a score until 3:30 minutes to go in the game. From a yardage standpoint, the two teams were relatively even with Memphis outgaining the Bearcats 432-407. This number is fascinating in that Cincy started a redshirt freshman backup at quarterback.

The Degenerate Menace Says: The oddsmakers seemed a bit lazy by just taking the 10 point win by Cincinnati and 58 point total and making a line around that. The quarterback situation seems to be clearer for Cincy as Desmond Ridder is probable for the game. With his addition and return to leadership, we will see the Bearcats cover another number.

Prediction: Memphis 30 - Cincinnati 27
