Blitzalytics Analysis
Line LSU (-7) Over/Under 54.5 Against the Spread - Georgia (7-5) LSU (7-5)
If LSU-Alabama was the Game of the Century this year, this game should be an even
better representation of the moniker. This contest pits one of the best offenses in the country with one of the best defenses. Since the Auburn game, LSU has averaged 52.5 points a game against SEC competition. In that same span, Georgia is giving up 8.5. UGA could have some issues at wide receiver as they have several out via injury or suspension.
The Degenerate Menace Says: The key to stopping any good offense is to keep them off the field. The Bulldog offense is built for this type of play with a running game that goes for 200 per contest. However, they will still need to open it up as LSU will probably be sitting on Georgia’s rushing attack. The best defense that LSU has faced this year was Auburn and they were held to their lowest point total of the season with 23. Statistically, Georgia’s defense is better. All signs point to taking the Dogs and the points. The computer disagrees...
Prediction: LSU 36 - UGA 28
