Blitzalytics Analysis
Line BYU (-2) Over/Under 64 Against the Spread - Hawaii (7-7) BYU (4-8)
This will be a de facto home game for the Warriors as they play in the Hawaii Bowl. They have beaten teams they are supposed to beat and lose to teams that are favored against them. The one key difference between these two teams now is health as Hawaii has no injuries and the Cougars have several people out or questionable. Despite the injuries, BYU has good wins on its resume including Tennessee, USC and Boise State.
The Degenerate Menace Says: It is hard to discern what is going to happen in this contest strictly from the issue of BYU’s health. They are down to their third-string quarterback and fourth-string running back. Add this to the fact that they have to travel to Hawaii which is 6-2 at home this year. That being said, the computer disagrees with all of the sentiments. It thinks the Cougars still perform better even with the injuries.
Prediction: BYU 33 - Hawaii 28
