Blitzalytics Analysis

Line Texas A&M (-7) Over/Under 54.5 Against the Spread - Oklahoma State (8-4) Texas A&M (7-5)

The main key when comparing these two teams is schedule strength. While Texas A&M has a worse record than Oklahoma State, their losses have come to the #1, #2, #3, #5 and #12 teams in the country. That is tough sledding. Oklahoma State has had a pretty tough schedule in their own right, according to Sagarin (#17). Another key to betting this game will be the quarterback situation for the Cowboys. Spencer Sanders has been questionable to play. Even if he does play, will he be able to perform at the same high level?

The Degenerate Menace Says: Defensively, A&M could be in some trouble with their defensive end, Justin Madubuike, declaring for the draft and sitting out the bowl game. The Aggies have not done well against better competition and the Cowboys are certainly not bad. Jimbo Fisher has been less than stellar in the last few years of coaching. The computer thinks Okla. State will cover and may win outright. What the heck! Let’s go with that!

Prediction: Oklahoma State 30 - Texas A&M 29
