The Chicago Bears went all in at the beginning of the 2018 season when one of the best players in the league became available, trading for Khalil Mack from the Oakland Raiders just days before opening night in Green Bay. To get Mack, the Bears had to part ways with first round picks in 2019 and 2020, a third round pick in 2020, a sixth round pick in 2019, and had to dish out $141 million to reach an extension with Mack. Unless you lived under a rock through the NFL season, you would say the Khalil Mack trade was worth every penny and every pick.
All eyes are on the draft, and after a 12-4 season for the “Kings of the North”, there aren’t as many draft needs as shortly once before.
