The coach’s chopping block is in full swing over the last couple of weeks. First, Bill O’Brien (with a subsequent Houston win) and now Dan Quinn. Makes you wonder how Adam Gase still has a job in New York, huh? Government conspiracy? Blackmail? Who knows. However, now that Le’Veon Bell is gone, it could be time to roll some heads in the Big Apple. Could be interesting to see what happens to the Vikings, Jaguars, and Chargers if things don’t turn around for them as well considering the talent each of those teams has. On to the picks!

Last week: Record 8-6 (57.1%) Top Picks 1-1 (50%) Betting Result: DOWN 6.7 Units

YTD: Record 42-34-1 (55.2%) Top Picks 10-8 (55.5%) Betting Result: UP 5 Units

TOP PICKS (10 Units)

Baltimore (-7.5) at Philadelphia

Pissed off Lamar Jackson versus a team from the NFC Hot Garbage Division? Sign me up!

Miami (-8.5) vs N.Y. Jets

Can anyone remember a time when the Dolphins were favored by this much? Was Dan Marino still quarterback? Speaking of a lot of years, I am not feeling warm and fuzzy when the starting running back of the Jets is like 48 years old and the quarterback isn’t much younger.

L.A. Rams (-3.5) at San Francisco

What the heck is happening in San Francisco? After losing to the Eagles (admittedly with a third-string quarterback), Jimmy G drops a tight and coily on the field against the Dolphins en route to a 43-17 beatdown. The Rams just keep rollin along. Let’s see if the Niners can get it together as they get healthier. Of course, I hope not.

TIER TWO (7 Units)

Indianapolis (-8) vs Cincinnati

Well, Joe Burrow’s ATS streak ended last week in spectacular fashion against the Baltimore Ravens. Things will not get better this week as they face another top-10 defense. The Colts will be angry after taking one on the chin to the Browns in the previous game. I have said it before and I will say it again: If Phillip Rivers stops giving the ball to the other team, Indy should have no problem.

Arizona (-2.5) at Dallas

Naturally, prayers go out to Dak Prescott after such a gruesome injury against the Giants. Class act doesn’t deserve that type of thing. How will the Cowboys react? Sure, they came back to beat the Giants, but we are talking about the Giants here. Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have been up and down this season. Let’s be serious for a second: Dallas has given up 400 yards per contest and 19 touchdowns in five games on defense. Kyler shouldn’t have any troubles scoring and Arizona’s defense should be good against Andy Dalton.

Green Bay (-2) at Tampa Bay

We can make jokes all day about Tom Brady’s CRS moment (can’t remember sh*t) against Chicago. However, Tampa’s issue is going to be on the defensive side of the ball as a rested Packer team comes to town with one of the best offenses in the league. The Bucs will also have to replace Vita Vea on the D-Line after he broke his leg.

MEH BETS (4 Units)

Atlanta (+3.5) at Minnesota - Will the Falcons benefit from the Bill O’Brien Effect?

Denver (+10.5) at New England

Houston (+3) at Tennessee - Maybe the monkey is off their back after the BOB firing?

Jacksonville (+3.5) vs Detroit - The Stache is becoming dead to me...

BETS THAT SHOULD BE FIRED (1 Unit)

Chicago (+3) at Carolina

Washington (+3) at N.Y. Giants - Does it matter who starts at QB for WFT?

Cleveland (+3.5) at Pittsburgh

Buffalo (+3.5) vs Kansas City - Can the Chief defense rebound?

Hopefully, y’all can keep your jobs and enjoy the football. Good luck!
