Week 15 of the NFL Season has concluded and there were a few upsets this week that resulted in people being eliminated in survivor. Let's dive into how I did, giving my top 5 options that I gave to pick in Survivor and a trap game to avoid choosing for Week 15 of the NFL season.
Week 15 Top 5 Survivor Options
Week 15 Record (4-1)
Overall Record (58-17)
1. Arizona Cardinals at Detroit Lions
Wow. This was a complete upset. I never ever would've thought that the Detroit Lions would win this game by 18 points. It is clear that Kyler Murray was not completely healthy in this game at all. CB Byron Murphy was not good in this game. Jared Goff had his best game of the season throwing many touchdowns. One thing is for sure: despite the terrible record, it is clear that the Detroit Lions have a stronger coach in Dan Campbell than they had with Matt Patricia. You can tell the love and respect that this team has for Dan Campbell on the sidelines and in the locker room. But overall great performance by the Detroit Lions.
2. Buffalo Bills vs Carolina Panthers
The Buffalo Bills needed to win this game as they have largely been inconsistent this season. Luckily the Bills woke up and won. In the case of the Carolina Panthers, their season is pretty much done. It's been done since they lost RB Christian McCaffery but this game sealed it. They are not mathematically eliminated yet but I doubt Carolina makes it to the playoffs. Plus I don’t know about head coach Matt Rhule and if he will be here in the long term. I think they will give him another year but Rhule has not been a great coach this season.
3. Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
Not a surprise at all as the Giants were weaker than the Dallas Cowboys. Mike Glennon was absolutely terrible and made some awful interceptions. Jake Fromm did not impress either when he was put into the game. With Daniel Jones out for the season, their season is done. I got to ask How in the world are the Giants not Mathematically eliminated in the playoffs?
4. Los Angeles Rams vs Seattle Seahawks
The Los Angeles Rams finally get to double-digit wins this season by beating the Seattle Seahawks. The season for Seattle is done as well and Russell Wilson was not good in this game at all. If I am Seattle I would blow it up and start rebuilding. Especially when the Seahawks will have a top 10 pick in this draft class after the disappointing season. Oh, wait they don’t have that pick as it is New York Jets property as a result of the Jamal Adams trade.
5. Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets
Speaking of the New York Jets we have this game. Again this was an unsurprising result as the Dolphins are a lot better than the Jets are on offense, defense, special teams, and coaching. Yes, Brian Flores is a better coach than Robert Saleh is. Hopefully, Saleh gets better but he has been up and down this season as the head coach of this team.
Trap Survivor Pick: Cleveland Browns vs Las Vegas Raiders
Not going to go long here as I was not surprised at all that A) this game got postponed to Monday and B) that the Browns lost this game. The Browns did not have their head coach and many starting players on offense and defense in this team. Especially as the Browns did not have both QB Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum to start. The Browns had to start Nick Mullens at QB as a result. You know Nick Mullens’ name sounds very familiar to mine.
