Week 7 of the NFL Season has concluded and it was an unsurprising week in Survivor as except for a few games many advanced. Let's dive into how I did, giving my top 5 options that I gave to pick in survivor and a trap game to avoid choosing for Week 7 of the NFL season.

Week 7 Top 5 Survivor Options

Week 7 Record (5-0)

Overall Record (29-7)

1. Los Angeles Rams vs Detroit Lions

No surprises that the Rams won this game. This was a complete mismatch on paper but the Lions played tough in this game and there was a part of me that thought the Lions could beat the LA Rams. Then I remembered that the Lions are a cursed franchise and have Jared Goff at QB. My goodness he is awful. He made some terrible throws this game including overthrowing a wide open D'Andre Swift for a Touchdown in the third quarter. He was awful in the 4th quarter as well. Other than that not a surprise the Rams won.

2. Arizona Cardinals vs Houston Texans

Arizona got off to a slow start as the Texans were up 5-0 in the second quarter and were scaring some who took the Cardinals. The Cardinals woke up and responded by scoring thirty one points in this game. Not a surprise at all that Arizona won this game. Kudos to Zach Ertz who heavily impressed in his first game with the Cardinals. He had a nice 47 yard Touchdown in this game to Kyler Murray. This team made the right move by quickly moving on from Bust QB Josh Rosen to get him. Yes Rosen is absolutely a bust and will be one of the biggest busts in Arizona Cardinals and recent history. Kliff Kingsbury returned in this game to coach and he left the game with a smile and still is the only undefeated team in the NFL Today.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Chicago Bears

Total Domination. That is the best way to describe this game. The Buccaneers were better on offense, defense, special teams, and coaching. Matt Nagy is absolutely on the Hot Seat and will most likely be out of a job at the end of the season. I got to be honest Justin Fields is not ready at all. He was completely terrible in this game making bad throws including his three interceptions he threw in this game. It was bad. He even fumbled the ball three times in this game as well and lost two of them. I honestly thought the team was going to bench him for Nick Foles or Andy Dalton. Overall great performance by the Buccaneers and if the Bears want to make the playoffs next season they have to play better than they did.

4. Green Bay Packers vs Washington Football Team

What a gigantic regression for Washington’s defense. It has been absolutely terrible this season including the secondary and William Jackson has been terrible and Washington should absolutely use the Osweiler Effect to get rid of the 3 year deal they signed him during the offseason. He did not play but I guarantee if he was in the game the Packers would score more points then they did in this game Washington needs to play better on defense if they want a chance at the playoffs. I still don’t think Taylor Heinicke is terrible but he has not impressed at all. He did make a nice throw to Terry McLaurin who is easily the best player on this offense. The Packers were fantastic in this game and performed extremely well and made three nice touchdown throws to Rob Tonyan (Finally he showed up ready to play well), Allen Lazard, and Davante Adams. Great performance by the Green Bay Packers in this game.

5. New England Patriots vs New York Jets

Not a surprise New England won this game. I am more surprised how much of a blow out that this game became. The New York Jets were absolutely disgraceful in this game. They got blown out to a team they already played this season with a rookie quarterback and had two weeks to prepare while on a bye week. Zach Wilson is injured and will be out 2-4 weeks but I doubt he plays until week 12. New England Dominated them all game on offense, defense, special teams and even with coaching. If you chose New England this week in survivor then you did not have a high stress level or worried about advancing if you followed my advice and took the Patriots. They have no future value excluding Week 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars so this was a great Strategic play.

Trap Survivor Pick: Cleveland Browns vs Denver Broncos

What a joke of a performance by the Denver Broncos in this game. First off lets be real the only reason why the Broncos won the first three games of the season is because those teams are the Jets, Giants, and Jaguars. Those teams are absolutely in the top 5 worst teams in the NFL today. If the Broncos actually faced a stronger team the Broncos would not have had as many wins as they do now. It is clear that the Denver Broncos are a lot worse than what we all thought. What also is clear is that the Broncos have given up on Drew Lock. Teddy Bridgewater should have absolutely not played this game. He was even limping on the sidelines when he was walking to the locker room. We even saw Drew Lock warming up during the beginning of the 2nd half and I myself thought that they were going to put him in but nope. We saw Teddy play the entire game and he looked hurt. He was lucky to have thrown two touchdowns in this game and it was mainly due to blown coverage by Cleveland’s defense. Now I got to get on the coaching because the play calling has been horrendous. Pat Shurmur and Vic Fangio have made a ton of questionable calls in this game. Here is a big issue as well, this defense can’t stop a backup QB, RB, and both backup offensive tackles. Plus the wide receivers Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry are dealing with injuries. He got severly outcoached in this game to a beaten up Browns team and last week he got outcoached by an interim head coach with a distracted Raiders team. This is the kicker as well with Fangio, This team quit on the head coach in this game. Vic Fangio is absolutely on the hot seat this season and the Broncos need to win next week against the Washington Football Team especially in a tough division like the AFC West. Overall very impressed with how the Cleveland Browns perform in this game and hopefully they get healthier as they next week take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
