Getting so close to the playoffs feels so good and the race for the Lombardi will be starting very soon. NFL teams and players will have to play their best ball coming down to the last 3 weeks. In week #15, there were a lot of superstars that had big-time performances to give their teams the edge. Plenty of players that proved that they are the best at the respected position. Below are the 3 winners and 3 losers for week #15 in the NFL.

1. Arizona Cardinals

There is now trouble in Arizona. After looking like a team that will be in the mix for the #1 seed in the NFC, the Arizona Cardinals now have dropped 2 straight games. This loss came against the 1-11-1 Detroit Lions. Being able to get a nice rebound win would have given confidence back to this Cardinals team. Now their confidence is at a huge low point. Kyler Murray did not look like himself in this game. The Cardinals defense has to improve as well. Giving up 30 points to one of the worst offenses in the league simply cannot happen. Come playoff time, it will be interesting to see how real this Cardinals team is. For right now, they are on a major decline, and many are hopping off their wagon.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offense

What happened to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night?! Do I believe that this will happen to the Buccaneers again come to the end of the season? The simple answer is no. I believe Tom Brady and the rest of the offense will bounce back next week against the Carolina Panthers. For right now though, that was a bad loss. The New Orleans Saints were simply able to shut down Brady. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Leonard Fournette were lost due to injury but being able to hold Tom Brady scoreless is huge. Brady showed his frustration on the sidelines by breaking a tablet. It was just one of those types of games where everything was simply off. The good news for Tampa Bay is they will be getting Antonio Brown back.

3. New York Giants

There has not been a lot of talk about the New York Giants this year and I think it is time to put this team in the spotlight and demand some change. It is time for the Giants to clean the house. After losing to the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 21 to 6, the Giants have fallen to a record of 4-10. The Giants GM in Dave Gettleman needs to be on his way out when this season is finally over. Many do not know if Daniel Jones is the answer at the QB position and in my eyes he is not. Other star players that the Giants have should be on their way out soon. A player like Saquon Barkley certainly must want to leave the big apple because it is not a place that will let him succeed. There are many question marks with the franchise, and it is going to take a few years before they are relevant again.

1. TE Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs

The best TE in the NFL showed up on Thursday night to put the Los Angeles Chargers away. Travis Kelce was just an unstoppable force for the Kansas City Chiefs. Kelce had 10 receptions for 191 receiving yards and 2 TDs. Kelce was a yard short of having an additional TD in the game as well! Simply, when Patrick Mahomes had to make a play, he was looking for #87. Kelce just has that gifted ability to make a big play happen with the ball in his hands, and that happened in OT. Making 3 to 4 defenders miss on your way to the endzone is a very rare thing to be able to do. At the end of the day, the Chiefs are now 10-4 and are looking to secure that #1 seed. Next week, the Chiefs will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

2. RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts

Run Taylor! Run! The Indianapolis Colts have a dark horse in the MVP conversation with Jonathan Taylor. Taylor was able to win the game against the New England Patriots on a 67-yard TD run. Taylor ended the game with 29 rushes for 170 rushing yards. This is a back that is going to win the rushing title. Taylor is simply amazing and can do it all for the Colts. The Colts are on a roll right now. At a record of 8-6 and the Colts are looking to make a deep run come playoff time. Next up for the Colts are the Arizona Cardinals who have dropped 2 straight games. It will be a huge game for both teams, but I expect Taylor to have a huge game.

3. QB Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

You cannot ignore what Aaron Rodgers is doing for the Green Bay Packers right now. Having them at a record of 11-3 and capturing their 3rd straight NFC North Championship is simply amazing. Rodgers had a big game against the Baltimore Ravens where he went 23 for 31 for 268 passing yards and had 3 passing TDs. That 3rd passing TD tied up Brett Favre for the most passing TDs in Packers history. It is going to be a tight race for the MVP crown between Rodgers and Brady. I do think, whichever team gets the top seed, then that QB will win the MVP award. Rodgers is in chase for that second title as well and he will have to take down Tampa Bay to get it. Next week Rodgers will play on Christmas day against the Cleveland Browns, and he should break Brett Favre's TD record.
