The Eagles started the season off very poorly at 4-5 with Carson Wentz, Alshon Jeffery, and others still on the mend during the first month of the season. They were thought to be left for dead after getting annihilated by the New Orleans Saints 48-7 in Week 11 before rattling off five wins in their last six games. They then overcame the Chicago Bears’ number one scoring defense (with a little help from the goalpost) and Nick Foles’ magic won on Wild Card weekend. The next week, they started out hot by leading the Saints 14-0 in New Orleans after the first quarter, but could not get anything going the rest of the way. After a fake punt inside their own 35-yard line and two Foles interceptions (including the game-sealing one that deflected off of Jeffery’s hands), the Eagles suffered their first postseason loss since 2013.

Eagles get: 2019 3rd round pick, Carlos Hyde- RB
Free Agent Targets
Geronimo Allison- WR (Packers)
With the cap strapped, Allison allows the Eagles to sign a low-cost, young player who has experience playing with Aaron Rodgers. Philly only has four wideouts under contract for 2019.
Steven Means- DE (Falcons)
Means would be coming back to Philadelphia as the team is in need of d-line depth with Chris Long potentially not coming back. Means was pretty good as a situational pass rusher in his first stint with the Eagles.
B.J. Finney- C (Steelers)
A restricted free agent for the Steelers, Finney could fill a major need at interior o-line depth for Philadelphia. He can play all three positions and played mostly center in Pittsburgh.
