With Week 10 now officially completed, there were a lot of games that had a lot of upset and hopefully you guys survived. As always I will discuss the rules for a survivor pool. It is a weekly contest where people select one team straight up per week to win their game. If a team chosen won, then they advance to the next week, but keep in mind that the team chosen can’t be used for the rest of the season. If a team that they chose for that week loses, well they are eliminated from the pool.

So now that the rules are set it is time for me to give my Top 5 options, a trap pick, and a survivor pick I would have made for the week if it was still alive.

1. Baltimore Ravens vs Carolina Panthers

Baltimore may still be beaten up right now, but they just came off of a bye week and are well prepared to play for this week. Carolina is also starting Baker Mayfield at QB due to PJ Walker’s injury. With this game also being in Baltimore, I would not sweat using the Baltimore Ravens this week in survivor.

2. Philadelphia Eagles at Indianapolis Colts

Yes I know the Eagles lost to the Commanders last week and it was an upset. However, thank the refs for the Eagles losing that game as there were numerous missed penalties that the refs had. They are facing the Colts who I know beat the Raiders, but the Raiders are injured and poorly coached at the moment. I would not stress taking the Eagles this week either.

3. Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are in trouble as while Justin Herbert is balling out, the team just has a ton of injuries that is just too much for the team to handle. Plus it doesn’t help that Brandon Staley and Joe Lombardi are awful coaches. The Chiefs are the better and healthier team and yet again are a great choice to use for this week.

4. San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals Arizona may have to go in this game with Trace McSorley at QB. That should warrant the 49ers on itself. Well not really I will go longer as to why this is not higher. Well the game is in Mexico City and it is a divisional game. But besides that the 49ers are a great choice to make as well.

5. Washington Commanders at Houston Texans

This may be the only week you can confidently take on the Commanders. Especially as they are a very mediocre team and the Texans are going nowhere this season and are tanking so hard that they are using tanks to go to games, excluding a team bus. There really is not any other week to take the Commanders and despite them not being the home team, the risk could be worth the reward.

Trap Survivor Pick - Buffalo Bills vs Cleveland Browns

I have seen many going Cincinnati against the Steelers as a Trap Game this week in survivor. Which is a good choice and is number 2 on my list. I have to go with the Buffalo Bills this week. Now before you come after me, Yes the Bills are the better team and should take care of business by beating a terrible Browns team. However with how bad the weather is going to be in Buffalo, I just can’t take them this week and both teams are likely going to run more than pass. The Browns have the better running back core and I expect them to hammer them in this game. Plus it is clear Josh Allen is still dealing with that Elbow injury as some of his throws last week against the Vikings were awful. I would not be shocked if the Browns upset the Bills this week, so in survivor leagues stay away from Buffalo.

Record (5-5) - Week 1: Washington Commanders, Week 2: New England Patriots, Week 3: Buffalo Bills, Week 4: Los Angeles Chargers, Week 5 Tennessee Titans, Week 6: San Francisco 49ers, Week 7: Green Bay Packers Week 8: San Francisco 49ers, Week 9: Cincinnati Bengals, Week 10: Las Vegas Raiders

Who I would of went with for my Survivor Pick for Week 10: Washington Commanders at Houston Texans

I can’t choose the Chiefs as they were my pick last week. The Eagles I used in Week 3 so, they are out. I want to save the Ravens for a better week to pick them. So this came down to the 49ers or the Commanders. I think the 49ers would be the safer pick, however this is likely the last week to choose the Commanders. So that is where I would have went this week by taking the Commanders against the Texans.

Record (6-4) - Week 1: Tennessee Titans, Week 2: Cleveland Browns, Week 3: Philadelphia Eagles, Week 4: New York Giants, Week 5: Denver Broncos, Week 6: Los Angeles Rams, Week 7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Week 8: Dallas Cowboys, Week 9: New England Patriots, Week 10: Kansas City Chiefs
