Week 13 of the NFL Season has concluded and there were a few upsets this week that resulted in people being eliminated in survivor. Let's dive into how I did, giving my top 5 options that I gave to pick in Survivor and a trap game to avoid choosing for Week 12 of the NFL season.

Week 13 Top 5 Survivor Options

Week 13 Record (5-0)

Overall Record (49-16)

1. Los Angeles Rams vs Jacksonville Jaguars

This game is a complete mismatch. The Rams were absolutely the better team on offense, defense, and special teams even with the massive amount of injuries that the Los Angeles Rams were dealing with. The Rams also have the better coach as there is no question I would rather take Sean McVay over Urban Meyer as my head coach. It is clear that the Jaguars are giving up this season and are in full-blown tank mode. If you took the Los Angeles Rams this week in survivor this week A) great job saving them for the long run, and B) There are not many more weeks to take the LA Rams this week.

2. Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos

Not a surprise that the Chiefs won this game. Especially as Andy Reid is always excellent when his team is coming off of a bye week. The Chiefs had many weeks to prepare. The Broncos look like a defeated team. Teddy Bridgewater can’t stay healthy and this organization has given up on Drew Lock. The Broncos don’t have a franchise QB or a good coach and I won't be shocked if the Broncos look different next season. Heck, even reports of a potential sale of the Denver Broncos team recently resurfaced again. So the Broncos could get a new ownership group.

3. Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets

The streak continues for the Philadelphia Eagles as they have never lost to the New York Jets once in the entire franchise history in the regular season. Hurts was not the starting quarterback due to injury so it was the Gardner Minshew Show. As a Jets/Jaguars fan this was a win-win as I was a fan of Gardner Minshew so I was happy he beat the Jets but it goes to show how unprepared and out-coached the Jets were. The defense was excellent as well for the Eagles. The Jets seriously have issues but at least Zach Wilson looked solid in this game.

4. Arizona Cardinals at Chicago Bears

Arizona continues to show how strong of a team they are and the Bears show how much of a mess they are. Andy Dalton is not the guy and was terrible in this game. At least Jakeem Grant impressed on offense and David Mongomery impressed but the offense is a mess. The Bears defense, especially the secondary, was a mess. The Bears are a team that has given up on the season and on head coach Matt Nagy. Why is Matt Nagy still the head coach for the Chicago Bears again? Overall strong performance by Arizona.

5. Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans

I am not going to go long here as this was a Total Deletion. The Indianapolis Colts completely deleted the Houston Texans. This game was a mismatch as the Colts have a better offense, defense, and coaching staff. Heck, they even deleted their chances of making playoffs this year as the Texans have now been mathematically eliminated.

Trap Survivor Pick: Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions

Games like this are why I get nervous taking divisional games in survivor. The Lions defeated the Vikings which stunned many as the Vikings are still in the hunt to make the playoffs. This game could come back to haunt them if the Vikings don’t make the playoffs. Kirk Cousins deserves better as statistically he is having his best season but this defense is an absolute mess. The Offense was in trouble with Dalvin Cook’s injury but now Adam Thielen is dealing with an injury that could make him miss a few games. I absolutely believe that Mike Zimmer is on the hot seat as some of the coaching decisions he made in this game questioned me. In order to secure a job, he needs to have the Vikings make the playoffs. Congrats to the Detroit Lions and head coach Dan Campbell for finally getting their first win of the season.
