Brown has the physical attributes to play corner at the next level. He has incredible speed, quickness, and acceleration in order to cover any route on the field. He has shown glimpses of greatness in man coverage when on an island, but will struggle against bigger, more physical receivers, especially bigger receivers running possession routes. Brown will fall in the draft due to his lack of size and lack of stats accumulated while at Oklahoma. Brown should be drafted simply because of his man coverage ability and quickness. He would be a strong fit at the NFL level as a nickel corner or a slot corner in passing sets. His ability to recognize routes would help him chase receivers through traffic. Tre Brown's draft ceiling will be as a late day three pick, however, there is a strong chance that Brown does not get drafted and has to find his way to the NFL as an undrafted signee. However, do not be surprised to see Brown come off the board on day three. Given his athletic ability and skill set, I wouldn't be scared to reach on Brown in the earlier half of Day 3. Brown's athletic potential and iintagibles gives him a chance to be a starter in the NFL if he is given a chance. Brown's coverage ability is good enough alone to make him a top 25 corner in the NFL, but his lack of run support will ultimately affect his final grade.
