Enormous frame with good length that allows him to get around defenders and get to the quarterback. Physical specimen who can dominate with strength, speed, and surprising agility. Can take over and edge on runs with his length, something that will only improve once he learns to shake blocks.
Weaknessess
Played only 14 games in college and would have benefited from another year to refine his game. Very raw with pass rush moves and just wins with physicality. While it worked in college, he'll need moves to succeed in the NFL. Needs to put on some more weight, as he has a skinny frame for an edge rusher.
Big Picture
Rousseau was one of the earliest notable prospects to opt-out of the 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns, but is still expected to go in the first round. He's started just one full year in college, but proved his physical dominance with 15.5 sacks. However, he is still very unrefined as a rusher, and usually pushes back blockers and uses his length to take down the ball carrier while still engaging the blocker. He'll need to make a lot of changes in the NFL to keep up with an elevated level of competition, but his athletic gifts sure reassure teams about his high ceiling.

Moves around the field with great speed for his size. Can drop into coverage and does it well. Would benefit from being lighter on his feet. Very explosive, drives back even the biggest blockers. Can move up and down the line very well. Played wide receiver and safety until his senior year of high school and can move unnaturally fast for his size. Most of his tackles and sacks come from getting his arms around his blocker to hit the quarterback, in a show of top notch flexibility.

Big Play Ability
Has all the physical tools to dominantly pass rush, but definitely needs to work on utilizing more moves. Very raw as a rusher and tries to bull rush rather than use his length to get around blockers. If he can use more moves, he can easily become a dominant pass rusher. Plays well with leverage but just to push back the blocker, not to get around them. He uses his hands very well against quarterbacks to hit them and knock down passes, but doesn't use them against blockers well. Uses his physicality to get a lot sacks, but won't be able to match that production without refining his game in the NFL.
Against The Run:
7.45
Has an underrated ability to set an edge due to his great length and agility. Doesn't shed blocks and get into the backfield for tackles, but can stop runs in their tracks at the line. His main issue in run blocking is simply a lack of ability to cover large areas, since he can really only tackle as far as his arms go. If blockers push him away, he can't recover and leaves an opening. Great tackler, wraps up with ease and brings down the runner, even from the ankles.
