Strengths

Benton has great flexibility and has a great posture that can be attributed to his wrestling background. He does a great job providing leverage and does a great job utilizing his hands. Benton even has solid pass rushing moves. Benton plays with leverage and does a decent job stacking and shedding to make tackle. He has strong gap integrity and can do a great job shooting at gaps. Benton plays with toughness as he played most of the season with that knee injury. Benton is versatile playing in a 4-3 or 3-4 defense as a nose tackle or defensive lineman.

Weaknessess

He has decent agility and is not the most explosive player on the defensive line. Benton is not the greatest pass rusher and it shows with his footwork not being the cleanest or quickest. Benton has an over reliance on the spin move both as a pass rusher and run stopper. He needs to do better with finishing plays and with his tackling ability. A big thing he needs to improve on is being a bit more disruptive and playing at a more consistent basis.

He is not the greatest pass rusher and it shows with his footwork not being the cleanest or quickest. However there is potential here as he does a great job providing leverage and does a great job utilizing his hands. Benton even has solid pass rushing moves, however he has an over reliance on the spin pass rush move. Benton needs to learn when to properly do the spin move as NFL o-linemen can easily adapt to iit if he does it almost every play. He needs to do better with finishing plays.

Benton plays with leverage and does a decent job stacking and shedding to make tackles, but like I mentioned earlier has an over reliance on doing a spin move. He doesn't have the greatest tackling ability, but he can hit with power. He has strong gap integrity and can do a great job shooting at gaps.
