Team Fit

Strengths

Wynn is a big body lineman who seems to swallow most defenders he puts his hands on. He does a great job at locking his hands onto defenders and driving them where he wants to go. He has versatility and can play guard or tackle. He will come in and be an effective run blocker early in his career. Naturally instinctive at picking up blitzes and stunts.

Weaknessess

He can be a liability in pass blocking early in his career versus speedy pass rushers. He can be slow at times kicking to the outside, so this allows fast guys to get around him. He will have to be kicked to the guard position because of his height. He also needs to find a way and get more push of the L.O.S. Stronger defenders can be difficult for him at times.

Big Picture

I believe Wynn has the capabilities to come in and contribute for a offensive line needy team. He can add size to the guard position, and help open up things in the run game. He can be a challenge for defenders to get around because of how he uses his body to his advantage. He can get beat at times by speedy rushers, but, I believe this is why he is better suited for a guard position and he will be better at pass blocking by holding his inside position. He will need to get a tad bit stronger to handle the stronger interior lineman of the league, but he does a nice job at anchoring down and holding down his position when he faces stronger guys, and ones that know how to win the leverage battle. I think if he can put it all together he can develop to be an all-pro guard in the league some day. He could have a long career, as long as his durability holds up. He has been a starter for Georgia since his freshman year so he has shown he can come in and contribute as a young person in a new league. I think he has 1st round talent as a guard, but because of how the draft may go, and his height, he may go late 1st round to early 2nd round. I would compare him to Kelvin Beachum.

Athleticism:

7.6

He is pretty quick for his size, he has the ability to pull out on blocks, his agility allows him to climb. He does a nice job at keeping his knees bent so he can keep his feet moving and to anchor in. He has average speed when he changes where he wants to go. Needs a little more twitch. He explodes his arms quickly so he can get locked on to the defender to keep him where he wants. He has experience playing guard and tackle, because of height he will play guard at the next level.

He is a big body, so he comes off fast, locks on, then helps clear the lane for the runner. He does struggle at times versus stronger defenders, doesn’t get the greatest push of the L.O.S. He is pretty quick on moving out towards his assignment to help seal a lane for the runner. He is light on his feet, and can be a bulldozer for a runner, he helps clear lanes on pull blocks. He can struggle with this, the more space he is in, the taller he gets, can get beat being too tall. Once he gets his hands locked in on the defender he has his way them. Strong lineman.

Pass Blocking:

He has a nice burst into his pass protection stance, wide, uses his body to his advantage. He holds his own because he can keep himself wide, shuffles feet, speed guys can beat him. He does a nice job at keeping his feet moving, slides with ease, keeps his body wide, gets in way. He uses his body and strength to his advantage, hold his own when he anchors in and hold his place. He picks up stunts quickly, he adjusts on the fly, shows he knows his assignment, protects QB. He does need to develop a better punch, does a great job at locking his hands in, secures position.

He doesn’t back down, he brings his best, he looks to finish blocks by taking them to the ground. I love how consistent he is, he keeps his body on defenders, rarely gets beat for a sack. He has been a starter since he was a freshman, he has been a solid contributor to Georgia.

He showed on tape he can pick up late blitzes and feel out which defender he needs to stick with. Based on his tape, he seems prepared for blitzes and pass rush moves, seems prepared. If he doesn’t have someone to block then he will help his teammates, always seems to look for work.
