Strengths

Thompson-Robinson has athletic upside and can be a scrambler. Thompson-Robinson is elusive and has solid agility. He can be a fit in RPO's and Play Action schemes. He can move around the pocket well, but has to do a better job avoiding pressure. Thompson-Robinson has smooth mechanics and has a quick release of the football. He can make a big play when it matters the most. Can be pretty accurate with shorter throws. Thompson-Robinson is great at improvising when things don't go to plan.. He can be a great leader on and off the field along with producing well through his career at UCLA. Thompson-Robinson does a great job with making decisions, has smooth instincts, and has great field vision.

Weaknessess

There are a few obvious weaknesses with Thompson-Robinson. Of course being 23 years old is not the greatest as he is on the older side of QB prospects in this class. Not the most explosive or fastest player in this class. Thompson-Robinson has a great arm, but it is not a rocket arm level. Not the most accurate thrower with longer and intermediate throws. Thompson-Robinson is inconsistent with his ball placement and delivery throwing the ball. His footwork can get very sloppy and does not have the greatest posture. Must be more poise in the pocket as he can crumble under pressure at times. He needs to do a better job making quicker adjustments before the ball is snapped.
