Hendon Hooker excels in RPO's and can be explosive, agile, and plays with speed. Can be very accurate throwing the ball both short and intermediate. Hooker has a rocket arm which showcases his Arm Strength. He has great Ball placement as well and has the ability to make a big play when necessary. Hooker is very competitive and is a great leader on and off the field. He has the ability to improvise in order to keep the drive going. Hooker is a great producer and even was a candidate for the heisman trophy. He can be poise in the pocket as well and can adapt while in pressure. Hooker has strong instincts and can adjust before the ball is snapped when he sees something on defense he can expose. Hooker has solid field vision and is a great decision maker with how he plays. Hooker has to improve with him in play action as he is not the greatest when in Play Action. He is not the greatest scrambler and has to do better avoiding pressure. He does need to work a bit, getting more accurate throwing the ball deeper. Can be sloppy with his mechanics and can be slow releasing the football when making throws. His footwork is inconsistent as sometimes it can be smooth and in other moments his footwork can be sloppy. Being on the older side as he is 25 years old and is coming off of a Torn ACL are red flags that can't be ignored. As of now I have Hendon Hooker as a 2nd/3rd Round prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft.
