Strengths

Pickett can be very agile and has a strong scrambling ability. Picket does a fantastic job with running RPO's and makes smooth throws while in play action. Pickett does a fantastic job when he releases the ball as quickly as he does along with getting a tight and nice spiral. He is a very accurate passer that can beat good coverage with the placement of his passes and is accurate throwing the ball short and intermediate. He is able to fit the ball into tight windows and does a superb job with his ability to make a big play. He has strong leadership skills as he can hype up players in and out of the huddle. Pickett is very poised in the pockett and can adapt to pressure to keep the play alive along with his improvisational ability. Pickett has strong Instincts that you want to see in a quarterback. Pickett has strong field vision when he makes short and intermediate throws. It is a big to note that Pickett does not have durability concerns to this date.

Weaknessess

Pickett does not have a rocket arm and is not the most accurate throwing deep balls. Pickett has decent footwork, but can be a bit sloppy at times. He needs to be more consistent with his improvisational ability and his explosiveness. Pickett is a solid producer on the field but it is important to note that he has only had one season of great production during his senior year. Pickett is a solid decision maker but needs to focus on making his decisions a little quicker as Pickett has a habit of holding onto the football a bit too long. It is important to note that his small hand size could become an issue and lead him to easily fumble the football.
