Strengths

Chris Tyree has a lot of athleticism including strong lateral agility and elusiveness. He can be very explosive and reach Top End Speed on offense or special teams. Tyree has great field vision and can react quickly by taking advantage. He has strong ball security and has only had 3 fumbles (2 lost). Tyree has strong hands and has the ability to make plays in space. Tyree is a solid lead blocker and is willing to put the effort in to make blocks, especially in space. Tyree plays with toughness and has a motor when on offense and special teams. Has solid instincts and can be versatile, lining up as a slot receiver, in the backfield, and even special teams.

Weaknessess

He does need to do better with his balance in contact. He struggles with his cutting ability and with his leg drive. He is not the most consistent with getting to the proper pad level and is not a power back. He can be sloppy at times running routes and must do a better job creating separation between himself and defenders. He needs to clean up his blocking technique as he does not have the best posture and has a habit of overreaching on blocks. He has to work on being more patient as he can rush to make a play. Durability is a concern as he dealt with a Turf Toe and Ankle injury through his career in college.
