Final Grade

Very patient in run coverage and doesn't go in too fast. Reads the quarterback's eyes very well and always has a good sense of where the ball is. Good parallel speed to keep up with the play. When the ball comes to him he plays it very well, and is always an interception threat. Cisco works best when he's able to patrol the secondary and hunt for the ball. Highly productive with getting interceptions and breaking up passes.

Weaknessess

Can get turned around easily in coverage, especially when the ball is in the receiver's hand. His biggest issue, struggling to turn his hips, translates into a lot more problems. Fails to make quick cuts and get the tackle. Backtracks well but can't turn into tight coverage on go routes. Due to this, he can get shaken off quickly in zone coverage by fast receivers on the deep ball. Doesn't always wrap up on tackles.

2020 lower leg injury out for season, later opted out.

Big Picture

Cisco was known in college for being a ball hawk, grabbing 13 interceptions during his career. He played in Syracuse's zone heavy defense, where he was able to move freely in the secondary, and fly to make plays with a good sense of timing. He has a very aggressive playstyle and comes up with a lot of interceptions, but needs some work. He struggles when asked to play man, and is usually limited to zone coverage. He can't turn his hips quickly, and will drift on a lot of plays. He isn't a reliable tackler, and will try to go for big hits instead. However, he does have an innate ability to get to the ball and breakup the pass, a trait which is valued in safeties. He has the ability to add to his game and will need to if he wants to be a top safety. His abilities in zone coverage and high production will make him a target for teams on draft day, and could go as high as the third round.
