Strengths

Athleticism is off the charts. Quick burst and lateral agility is great, has the ability to turn any play into a big one. Good route runner, can bait a defender that he is going deep and then snap his hips curling back to the QB. Smart football player, he really understands coverages and how to get open. Love the effort he gives, even when blocking. Great top end speed, he can easily pull away from defnders.

Weaknessess

His main weaknesses al from his size and strength. He is a small receiver, so doesn't have a lot play strength and can be overwhelmed by a strong and physical corner. Being under 6'0 he more of a challenge when going jump balls. He does high point the surprisingly well, but struggles with contested catches. These weaknesses in his game make him mainly a slot receiver, so he doesn't have a lot of position versatility and will need to prove to NFL teams that he can play outside. Not the best blocker, but gives good effort, so I will give a pass there.

Big Picture

Rodgers is a perfect example of a modern NFL wide receiver. Not big by any means, but the speed and athleticism to cause problems for defenses. He has the explosiveness to make any play into big one. All it takes is a tiny gap and he turn up field and outrun an entire defense. He will need to improve in the physical aspects of the game though, because NFL defensive backs will learn your weaknesses and exploit them. If he can become good at playing through contact and making more contested catches, I think he can become just like Tyreek Hill for any team that drafts him. I really like the effort he gives every play, even as a blocker where he isn't very strong. He always gives you the most he has, which goes a for me.
