Strengths
Ross plays with a lot of strength by getting out of tackles and being physical with cornerback. Ross does a great job controlling his body when running routes and catching the football. Ross has excellent hands and has the ability to make the most impressive catches along with utilizing his strong catching radius due to his size/wingspan. Ross does an excellent job making contested catches and will fight to catch the football. Ross plays with a lot of aggression and is very tough trying to play with many injuries. He often fights for yards and has strong balance when in contact. Ross has solid instincts on the field. He has position versatility and can be lined up in either the slot or an X receiver.
Weaknessess
Durability is a big concern as he did suffer multiple injuries including to his Ribs, Shoulder, Neck, Head, and Foot. Ross's injuries have affected his lateral agility, explosiveness, burst, and elusiveness. Ross's injuries have affected his lateral agility and elusiveness. Does not possess Deep-level speed that you want to see in a wide receiver. Ross does not have great release and is slow with his feet. Ross needs to do a better job running routes and creating separation in tight coverage. Ross is not the most reliable blocker as he would have a terrible blocking technique and sometimes lacks awareness by missing blocks. Ross does not have the best understanding of different coverages but when he recognizes it he can use it to his advantage.
