Stevenson is a home run hitter. He possesses elite speed and burst to blow the top off any defense. He has exciting elusiveness that allows for him to make defenders miss with ease. He is special after the catch and can take it to the house from anywhere on the field. He flashed great ability to create seperation with his fluid fast motion in and out of cuts. He utilizes his unique body control and ball tracking ability to haul in passes deep down the field. He is explosive off the line with an energizer bunny like foot quickness. He showed great instinct and coverage recognition in being able to sit in soft spots in zone and make the defense pay. He is a willing blocker, who plays strong for his size. He is lightning quick on the edges and is dangerous, when involved in the jet sweep game and return game.
Stevenson is weak at the point of contact. He often gets knocked off balance and rarely sheds the first hit. He struggles against more physical and stronger defenders. Press coverage gives Stevenson fits due to his lack of physicality and ability to keep the defenders hands off of him. His route tree was limited at Houston. He struggles catching the ball in traffic and gets alligator arms over the middle. The major concern for Stevenson is his durability. He endured a lot of injuries throughout his collegiate career and it is a major concern that he will not be able to withstand NFL punishment.
Stevenson is a dynamic playmaker, who has the ability to excel at the NFL level in the slot and as a return man. He was ultra productive in college as both a receiver and a return man. He possesses elite athleticism. He has home run hitting speed and burst. He is slippery in the open field and is a threat to break any play for touchdown. His exciting body control allows for Stevenson to haul in deep passes. He has great ball tracking ability down the field. He plays strong for his size. He has great instincts in working back towards the Quarterback and finding soft spots in zone coverage. He struggles at times against larger defenders, especially in press coverage. The one major knock against Stevenson is his durability. The best ability is availability and he has struggled to stay healthy. Teams will be timid to take a shot on a player, who struggles to stay healthy. However, if Stevenson can stay healthy he could be an explosive weapon for any team that drafts him. Stevenson is a traditional slot receiver, who can be deployed many different ways. He also is a dangerous return man, who can put teams in great field positions. Stevenson is an early day 3 pick with an enormous amount of potential and he will immediately be a deep ball threat at the NFL level.
Stevenson possess elite lateral agility that allows for smooth transitions in and out of his cuts. He is extremely elusive in the open field. He plays fairly strong for his size. He has an unbelievable burst off the line paired with type burner deep speed.

Stevenson is extremely quick with his release and his foot quickness is mesmerizing. He struggles releasing in press coverage though. His route tree was limited at Houston. His footwork and speed allow for him to create great separation from the defender. He has exciting body control that helps him haul in any passes off target. His spacing in soft spots in zone coverage is superb.

He has decent hands, but struggles to make grabs in traffic due to his lack of physicality. His catch radius is decent for his frame. He does a good job of high pointing football and tracking the ball deep.
Run After Catch
Stevenson is electric with ball after the catch. He is a threat to take it to the house from anywhere on the field. His contact balance is poor and he consistently goes down after any sort of contact. He is a willing blocker, but struggles against larger defenders. He plays tough and aggressive, which makes up for his lack of size.
Stevenson plays with great instinct and always is working towards the quarterback. He does a great job recognizing soft spots in zone coverage and exploiting them. Stevenson is a versatile chess piece. He can be deployed in the slot or outside as well as a dangerous return man.
