Blitzalytics Analysis

Line Green Bay (-4.5) Over/Under 47 Against the Spread - Seattle (9-8) Green Bay (10-6)

The final playoff matchup of the weekend pits Seattle in Green Bay at Lambeau Field. This game will put together two of the premier quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson. Both had 4,000-yard seasons again and they had a combined 57-9 TD to INT ratio. On the defensive front, both teams’ yards per game exceed their offensive output which is weird for two playoff teams. A major focus will be on the success of the running games. Aaron Jones had a monster season with almost 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns. Now that Seattle is down to running backs four and five, they will have to do a better job on the ground as Travis Homer and Marshawn Lynch combined for 19 yards on 17 carriers (Russell Wilson had 45 yards).

The Degenerate Menace Says: To be honest, I am a little worried about Green Bay’s performance against a week schedule. While they did sweep Minnesota in the regular season, they were not impressive against the other three playoff teams they faced (lost to Philly and San Francisco and beat Kansas City by 7 without Patrick Mahomes). Much like last week, I think that Seattle is a much more battle-tested team and could win outright, especially if they can outrush the Packers (not likely).

Predicted Score: Seattle 28 - Green Bay 27
