A rematch of the Minnesota Miracle occurs on Sunday as Minnesota visits New Orleans. It is not often that you have a Wild Card match-up that has combined for 23 wins. Drew Brees continues his excellent career with a 27-4 ratio despite the fact that he was out with a thumb injury for several weeks. Michael Thomas has been other-worldly for the Saints with 149 catches in 2019. On the other side of the ball, Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook look to have a monster game against a defense that can be exploited against better offenses.
The Degenerate Menace Says: Picking New Orleans to win is not the hard part. I am not exactly thrilled with the idea of picking Kirk Cousins to win any high-pressure game as I think he has won exactly one in his entire career. However, can the Saints cover 7.5? As mentioned previously, they do have a hard time against better than average offenses and Minnesota certainly has their moments. I think the Vikings should cover but Captain Kirk will choke again in the Big Easy.
