FanDuel has set up their XFL fantasy tournaments including games for just Saturday’s games (SEA @ DC, LA @ HOU) and tournaments for both days (TB @ NY, STL @ DAL on Sunday.) In this post, I’ll take you through my favorite lineup/players for the Saturday games and hopefully you can cash out big time with me. FanDuel lineups consist of 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR/TE, 2 Flex.

QB: Cardale Jones, $20. Former Bills QB has now joined the DC Defenders for what I hope to be a shot at redemption. He has the natural athletic ability which allows him to launch the football as well as use his legs to get some big yard gains on the ground. Expect big numbers from him in an XFL league which seems to be hell-bent on becoming a pass first league.

Other notables: Josh Johnson (check for an injury update), $21.

RB: De’Angelo Henderson, $13. Now hear me out here. I understand the temptation to pick someone like Jhurrel Pressley or Kenneth Farrow, but as I mentioned before, this is going to be a pass-heavy league. Henderson is a pass catching back. That’s not to say that Pressley or Farrow won’t get big numbers, they actually probably will. But the tradeoff in terms of value is something I can not pass up with Henderson, especially because this means we can spend more on WRs and WRs catch balls and XFL is a … I think you catch my drift.

Other notables: Kenneth Farrow, $17; Jhurrel Pressley $18.

WR: Sammie Coates, $20; Rashad Ross, $15; Kahlil Lewis, $16; Tre McBride, $13. I’m using the rest of my roster spots on WRs. Using this particular set, I will still have $3 leftover out of the starting $100 budget. I think Ross is an absolute steal at this price. Frankly, I don’t know why FanDuel has him priced so low. According to many different sources, Ross is expected to be the number 1 WR in the league. Sammie Coates was a 99th percentile SPARQ athlete coming into the NFL draft and he has maintained his athleticism since then so we can expect big things from him. Tre McBride was traded straight up for Ross because McBride fits the offensive scheme that much better for his team, meaning they are going to make him a priority in LA.

Other notables: Nelson Spruce, $14; Eli Rogers, $13.
