He is a big, strong and physical monster of a tackle. He was the clear anchor of his line and a really well rounded player. Fantastic pass blocker, once he engages defensive linemen, he usually doesn't get beat. Has a very quick kick slide and is able to counter most speed rushers, which is a little surprising because of his size and overall physical presence. Very good at climbing up field when run blocking and is a mauler when the opportunity arises, you can tell he really enjoys burying players when he hit the second level of the field. For being such a big guy, I was extremely impressed with his athleticism and ability to move.
Weaknessess
Not a good pull blocker, though I think he just has bad technique. He isn't able to get into his blocking lane in time when pulling and it causes those plays to go for losses. He also doesn't always secure the fist level when in line blocking and will go straight to the linebacker, however I think it's a scheme thing. Either way securing the first level is going to be something he needs to work on, because not doing that in the NFL will lead to a lot TFLs.
Big Picture
Moore is a very underrated offensive lineman and I think will make an instant impact for the team who drafts him. He is extremely strong and once he gets his hands on an opponent, he usually wins the battle. He should be able to play either tackle spot, because he has the overall skill set and knowledge to mage it. He is very athletic and can get up field easily, but will need to work on blocks and schemes, because I don't think he was taught to secure the first level before climbing to the second level. He has all the skills to do it, but what I saw on film was Western Michigan having their TE block the end and have the OT instantly climb. That got their run in trouble, because the DE usually has a big advantage over a TE. With the level of talent in the NFL, not securing the first level will kill any chance of a run game. Overall though I think Moore is going to be a steal for whatever team gets him, because he has all the tools I want to see in an offensive lineman.
