Strengths
Has the one-on-one elusiveness to make defenders miss in space but does not mind getting physical and throwing a quick stiff arm. Will make above average cuts against defenders and knows how to hit an open hole at the LOS. Runs with the agility and acceleration that you want to see. Sees holes at the LOS at an above average level. Has enough speed to bounce runs out to the boundary and pick up positive yardage. Has the effort and wiliness to block defenders in both pass game and as a lead blocker in the run game. In the receiving game, he does have the hands to haul in passes but most of his work is done in running situations.
Weaknessess
Not an RB that has the dominating speed to take off in a flash and beat multiple defenders in a footrace. Was not used as a true three down back at Rutgers and certainly is not a back that you want primarily in on a clear passing situation. The separation when running routes simply was not there. Does not always lower his pad level and needs to do it more often to pick up the extra yardage. Was not an overly productive back during his colligate career.

Big Picture
Isaih Pacheco is a 5’11” RB out of the University of Rutgers that weighs in around 215 pounds. Pacheco is not an overly fast RB that is going to make huge electric runs on the football field. Pacheco has to develop a better ability of running with his pad level lower and driving with more force at the POA to pick up extra yardage. This is a back that can be physical but doing it at a constant rate has to happen more often. Pacheco however is an RB that possess above average agility and the ability to make defenders miss in space with quick sudden movements. This is not a back that can be used in the passing game at a huge rate. Pacheco was able to be effective as a lead blocker in some situations and was trustworthy in his pass pro. In pass protection, Pacheco does have good technique and was able to hold his ground against oncoming blitzes. This is an RB that has to develop his pure skills more but should be taken in the 4-7 round range.

Not an RB with a huge amount of electric top end speed that will blow you away on film but does run hard. His explosiveness firing into holes is average at times and needs more improvement. He does have an above average lateral agility that lets him cut into holes and make defenders miss in space. Is a well balance back between power and finesse. Being able to stay up running after initial contact would flash at times.

Big Play Ability
Does need to improve getting his pad level lower and driving for extra yardage after initial contact. Was not able to always drive for huge amounts of extra yardage at a consistent rate. Does have the cutting ability to make defenders miss in space and certainly can cut into small holes that appear at the line of scrimmage. Sees the field at an above average level but will bounce runs outside too often but can be physical. Does possess good ball security, only had 1 fumble in 2021.
Receiving:
6.69
A back that was not overly effective in the passing game. Has solid hands to catch the ball but does not have super effective results. Does not separate from defenders at a huge rate. Can run routes that allow him to gain the proper amount of separation but besides that not much pure separation ability. Tends to be slower when having to revive the ball in the passing game.

Can be a lead blocker off jet sweeps and even in pistol formations. Is not an incredible blocker in space but was very effective in his pass protection off play action. Was able to pick up multiple blitzes on film and is always moving around to find those free rushers. Effort certainly is there.

Is a tough player that will run with the effort that you want to see. Was not overly productive in the Rutgers offense. Does not have an overly high running motor but could develop into a true three-down back.
Intelligence:
7.08
Was patience at the LOS in letting some of his blocks develop before he hit a hole. Being able to rely on his true instincts and know when to attack in between the tackles would flash but needs more improvement. Is not versatile enough to be on the field on all three downs, more of a 1st and 2nd down back.
